my Dad is 59!!!

My dad turned 59 today!! We celebrated with him by adding some fine new shirts to his collection, eating dinner & just hanging out and laughing over dinner. We sprung grandma from the home for a couple of hours to join in the fun.

Mobbing

Mobbing. Delaney & I were driving over to my parents when we observed a guy walking down the street in baggy sweats & a beater. I laughed out loud thinking "hey, that guy dresses like a girl" as Delaney blurts out "dude, your sweats would look SO much better on me!" So she goes on to tell me how Aaron says his friends go mobbing around sporting similar looks all the time & he thinks they all look like Delaney. Mobbing. I had to ask for several examples of mobbing around. Like did we mob around the house all weekend? No, that was apparently just hanging out. ONLY people up to the age of maybe 18 can say they mob. The example that finally clinched the explanation in my mind was "When Laryssa was here, we mobbed around everywhere" I tried several times to use it in a sentence. ie "Amy & I mobbed to the bar to hear a band" was the final straw. She just said--Mom, you are too old to mob ANYWHERE! I take exception to this & must make her suffer for calling me old. Only I can call myself old.
